Soups and Stocks: November 30th 6:30 - 8:30 pm
In this workshop we will cover the basics to making healthy and delicious homemade soups. We will learn how to make a simple vegetable stock and a hearty chicken stock. We will discuss the importance of using fresh and local ingredients. But also talk about ways to save money while providing nutritious food for you and your family. We will make a cream soup and a broth based soups. All guests will take home two different soup samples. Workshop invovles a combination of instruction, hands on activity and recipes to take home.
