Lavender Blue CateringLavender Blue Catering and Prepared Foods was founded by 2 friends with ambitions to change the expectations around food and what full service catering should feel like. They started in a small kitchen in the back half of a unit in Downtown Orangeville and in 4 years have taken the company to their permanent home at the Athlete Institute on Hwy 9 east. They operate a commercial kitchen and a retail cafe where you can find freshly prepared meals to take home or stay in and enjoy, or select from an extensive menu of frozen take-home meals, soups and desserts.
Bennington Hills FarmBennington Hills Farm is a regenerative farm committed to agricultural practices that renew soil health, revitalize nutrient density of food, and restore rural communities with reverence for the land. To regenerate is “…to change radically and for the better, to produce anew, to restore to original strength and properties.” We believe in land use that supports all living species - human, animal, plant, and microbial - and values each contribution to the larger ecosystem. By allowing nature to be nature, we create desperately needed space for regeneration of soil life, for restoration of plant and animal biodiversity, and to increase the earth’s ability to hold carbon. We currently offer grass fed and pastured beef, lamb, pork and chicken; edible grains, beans and legumes coming soon.
