Blackhouse Lunches FAQ's
On our farm we are very fortunate to have several beautiful dry stone features. The largest feature being a Blackhouse. In this Blackhouse we host lunches! These lunches runs from July - September. We love to cook seasonally featuring local vegetables, farm raised meats and local cheeses!
What to expect:
Arriving at the farm you will be greeted by our friendly staff, please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the start time of the meal. Rebecca will join you in front of the Blackhouse to talk about the history of the farm and Blackhouse. You will then be welcomed into the Blackhouse for the first course.
Inside the Blackhouse:
All guests will be seated together at our marvelous harvest table, there will be 10-16 guests for a meal. Please come ready to enjoy each others company!
Gratuities & Shopping:
Gratuities are not included in the ticket price, you are welcome to tip our wonderful staff the day of the event! Shopping in the farm store will be available throughout, before and after your lunch reservation.
Bathrooms & Smoking:
We have a bathroom available in the Farm store for your use, there is no washroom in the Blackhouse. We do not permit smoking on the property.
The lunch will generally run 12 - 1:30pm, depending on the group size!
*All individual tickets must be paid for in advance. Payment must be made via our website.
*Tickets are non-refundable
*Tickets are transferable to another date within 14 days of the scheduled lunch date.
*Cancellations must be made within 7 days, there will be no refund at this time.
