About UsRebecca Landman, owner of Landman Gardens and Bakery, is one of six children. From a young age Rebecca has been involved in the family farm. Her love for growing food started at a young age, Rebecca's grandfather, Sjoerd, lit the spark for her love of nature. Rebecca remember Sjoerd explaining to three year old Rebecca what a seed needs to grow and the importance of earthworms.
After completely her Culinary Management Diploma at Canadore college and Sustainable Agriculture diploma at Fleming College, Rebecca combined her love of growing food and cooking to create Landman Gardens and Bakery. |
Canadian Organic Growers (COG)COG's membership is diverse and includes farmers, gardeners, processors, retailers, educators, policy-makers, and consumers. Not all COG members run certified organic operations, but they share a vision for a sustainable bioregionally-based organic food system. Our members believe that organic food production is the best choice for the health of consumers and producers, for the protection and enhancement of the environment, and for the sustainability of the food production system.
